2012 Fraud Conference - UPDATED INFORMATION
Thursday, August 2 and Friday, August 3, 2012

Pulaski Technical College

Sessions will begin at 8:15 am and end at 4:00 pm. 
Registration begins at 7:45 am on August 2nd and at 8:00 am on August 3rd. 

A total of 16 CPE hours is awarded for the conference - an INCREDIBLE value!  The 2011 conference consisted of 14 hours of A&A and 2 hours of Ethics. Please RSVP to Kim Williams at kim.williams@arklegaudit.gov and RSVP the number of hours you are attending for certificate purposes.   Parking is available in front of the Campus.

A Chapter business meeting is scheduled for August 2nd at 4:00 pm.

The 2012 Conference fee is $80 which includes snacks at two breaks and lunch on both days.  Chapter dues are collected along with the conference fee, which is $25 per year.  Dues and registration fees totaling $105 may be paid in advance by mailing a check payable to AR Chapter of ACFE to Kim Williams, Treasurer, AR Division of Legislative Audit, Room 104, State Capitol Building, Little Rock, AR 72201, or may be paid at the door at the time of registration.

International Fraud Awareness Week
November 6 - 12, 2011

Intense financial pressures during the economic crisis have led to an increase of fraud, according to a survey of fraud experts conducted by the ACFE.  With this in mind, the ACFE urges organizations worldwide to participate in International Fraud Awareness Week to help cast a spotlight on this urgent problem. 

International Fraud Awareness Week is dedicated to increasing fraud awareness and advancing the global fight against fraud. The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), along with official supporters of International Fraud Awareness Week from the public and private sector, are proactively taking the steps to minimize the impact of fraud by promoting anti-fraud education.
